Crofton Cottage is a charming, family owned, period stone cottage in the heart of Bowness on Windermere. An ideal base for exploring the southern lakes, the cottage is a short walk from the town centre and its restaurants and shops and the steamer pier on Lake Windermere. This self-catering cottage sleeps up to 4 people and has 1 beautifully decorated double bedroom with built in wardrobes, television and DVD and 1 twin bedded bedroom with wardrobe and bedside cabinets. It has two lounges both with gas fire, televisions and DVD players, a well equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, freezer and fridge together with a separate dining area, and bathroom with power shower and bath. Outside is a separate storeroom with tumble dryer and space for storing walking boots. The cottage has a small courtyard at the rear, which has seating for 4, and a BBQ for al fresco dining. Parking via parking permit which is free.
